He wears glasses, a red or yellow polo shirt with a white collar, and blue or black shorts. Nobita Nobi is a fourth grader and the only child of his parents. Although being a robot, he needs normal human requirements, such as eating, sleeping in the Nobita's bedroom. Doraemon is very friendly and intelligent and has been living as the unofficial fourth member of Nobita's family and acts like a second son to Nobita's parents. Doraemon has a 4-dimensional pocket from which he can acquire various kinds of futuristic tools, gadgets, and toys from a future department store. Sewashi had learned from parents that Nobita much suffered in his life and wanted to help him. He is sent to the Matsushiba Robot Factory as blueprint, and is sent back in time by Sewashi (Nobita's Great-great-grandson) to aid Nobita. #SaveUrdu #Save.UR.Doraemon is a cat-like robot created for Nobita from the future. If India is dubbing Japanese cartoons in Hindi to promote Hindi in upbringing of their children then why can't Pakistan dub the same cartoons in Urdu to preserve our national language in our younger generations.
It is quite an alarming situation in a soceity where parents feel pride in making their children forget their first language, instead try to focus on other languages. According to a report as many as half of the world's 7,000 languages are expected to be extinct by the end of this century and it is estimated that one language dies out every 14 days. World is turning into a global village (with the use of advanced technologies) and regional languages are becoming obsolete day by day.
It is not that I am anti-Indian or anti-Hindi, it is because one should preserve their respective culture and languages which is considered part of someone's identity. But I think Hindi-dubbed cartoons should be banned. Explicitly mentioning Doraemon for banning is a childish move by PTI.
